((So far...these are only basic descriptions...they'll be elaborated on later on u__u ))
NOTE 1: Most creatures/races/whatever who have the ability to talk..also have the ability to speak English..mostly for business [literal and non-literal sense] purposes..
NOTE 2: The languages spoken listed under each creature are needed in order for said creature to cast a spell...if said creature has magical capabilities that is >___>
*Ogres -Classic: ~The Classic Ogre is a large humanoid creature (ranging from 10’-20’ tall) that feed mostly on meat (including humans, elves, etc…). They are usually rather overweight with most notably, a rather large paunch which stores most of their organs. This paunch has a thick wall of muscle in order to protect the organs. However, most ogres also wear armor over their paunch for extra protection. Language Spoken: French -Trolls: ~Trolls are like classic Ogres as in they are humanoid and feed meat but, Trolls are larger and more muscular (25’-40’ tall). They skin is more on the rubbery side than the other classes of Ogres. Trolls also have regenerative powers… being able to regenerate limbs when lost or injured (they can’t regenerate organs though). Language Spoken: Swedish -Onis: ~Onis are hideous large creatures with sharp claws, wild hair, and two large and sharp horns growing from their heads. They are mostly humanoid, but sometimes have unusual features such as extra eyes, fingers, or toes. They skin comes in an assortment of colors, but are mostly red or blue. They also often carry a spiked iron club called a kanabo. They have a fear of monkey-like creatures (since actual monkeys don’t exist anymore…). They are the largest class of ogres ranging from 35’-70’ tall. Language Spoken: Japanese -Orcs: ~Orcs are the smallest class of Ogres standing the same height as humans. They are physically weaker than humans, but due to their tough skin (which is either blue or green) they are more durable than humans. They are known for their brutal, war-mongering, sadistic, yet cowardly tendencies. Their power is in numbers (aka… There are A LOT of Orcs in this world) Language Spoken: English -Cyclops: ~Cyclopses are the second largest class of Ogre ranging from 30’-50’ feet tall. They live only to kill. They are known for only have one eye (a rather large eye). Their skin is often a reddish brown color and is ultra-tough. They are also the psychically strongest class of Ogre. *Faeries: ~Faeries are small winged magical beings. They range from 6”-2’ tall with it being the smaller one is the stronger their magic is. They have enhanced hearing due to long pointed ears. They’re magic is mostly nature based though some have other magic abilities such as shape-shifting (it really depends on the faerie). Males of dragonfly-like wings and females have butterfly-like wings. There is an ancient rivalry between Faeries and Pixies… Language Spoken: Latin
*Elves: ~Elves are humanoid magical beings. They have the same features and height as humans, except Elves have pointed ears. They have a greater depth of knowledge than humans. They also age much more slowly than humans. They are skilled in physical combat as well as magical combat (with particular adeptness in archery). There is an ancient rivalry between the Elves and the Drows…. Language Spoken: German
*Drows: ~Drows (aka “Dark Elves”) are also magical humanoid beings with the same features and traits as elves, except for a few things. Drows use black magic as opposed to light magic (which is used by most magical creatures). They also have obsidian black skin as opposed to the fairer, lighter-complexion of Elves. There is an ancient rivalry between Drows and the Elves… Language Spoken: English, Gaelic

*Dragons -Classical: ~Classical dragons are the type of dragons that were found in European mythology. They come in all sorts of sizes and colors but looks and features are basically the same across all Classical Dragons. They breathe fire and have vicious claws and teeth that can pierce through the toughest armor. Their wings can either be feathered or bat-like. Like all classes of dragons, they can masquerade as a human. Language Spoken: English, French, Italian, Portuguese -Sea serpents: ~Sea Serpants come in a lot of different shapes, sizes, and colors (though they mostly have blue or green hides). They make their homes in the seas, oceans, lakes, rivers, and even ponds or puddles if they are small enough. A classic example is the Loch Ness Monster. Language Spoken : Hebrew, English -Lindworms: ~Lindworms are bipedal wingless dragons. They have a tendency to burrow and thus, most Lindworms live underground. Though they only have two arms and no legs, the claws on their two hands are extremely large and sharp. Also, the bite of the Lindworm is poisonous. Language Spoken: German, Swedish -Wyverns: ~Wyverns are basically Lindworms with wings (and without the poisonous bite). Language Spoken: French, Russian -Chinese dragons [Longs]: ~All Chinese dragons are male. They have the power to control the weather. They have the horns of a deer, the head of a camel, a demon's eyes, the neck/body of a snake, a tortoise's viscera, A hawk's claws, The palms of a tiger, A cow's ears, and it hears through its horns, its ears being deprived of all power of hearing. It is said that their tears have healing properties… Language Spoken: Chinese -Japanese dragons [Ryus]: ~Similar to Chinese dragons, Ryus can be either male OR female. They take on attributes to the environment they live in (ex. If they live in a mountain, then their scales are usually rock-like). Most Ryus live by or in water though. Language Spoken: Japanese -Hydras: ~Hydras are mutli-headed dragons (with or without wings). Every time one of their heads is cut of, multiple heads replace it. Also, their claws and bite are poisonous. Language Spoken: Greek

* Mermaids/Mermen: ~They are humanoids with the bottom of a fish (or some other aqueous creature). They typical merfolk is a seductress/seducer… Though merfolk often take on personality traits of the fish they have as a bottom half (e.g. shark mermaids are meat-eaters and are malicious). Language Spoken: Arabic, English, Polish
*Giants: ~Basically are giant humans (range from around 28'-40’ feet tall). Though, instead of psyche, they use magic… Language Spoken: Greek, Swedish, Hindi, Hebrew, English
*Griffins: ~Griffins are creatures with the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle. They have incredible strength and are extremely loyal to their allies. Language Spoken: English

*Phoenixes: -Classical: ~The classical phoenix is a bird with a tail of beautiful gold and scarlet plumage. It lives 500-1000 years in which at the end it bursts into flames and arises anew. Like Chinese dragons, it is said its tears can heal you… Language Spoken: Arabic, Greek -Fenghuang: ~This is the Chinese version of the phoenix. It has power over fire. It is said to have the beak of a rooster, the face of a swallow, the forehead of a fowl, the neck of a snake, the breast of a goose, the back of a tortoise, the hindquarters of a stag, and the tail of a fish…. Language Spoken: Chinese -Firebird: ~This a magical glowing bird that is said to bring both a blessing and doom among anyone whom catches it. It glows orange, red, and yellow (just like a burning fire). Language Spoken: Persian, Russian

*Nagas ~Other than size, all classes of Nagas are very similar. Nagas have human torsos and snake bottoms. The snake bottom varies in colors and patterns. They are mostly based on pre-existing snakes. Female Nagas are called Nagi or Nagini Language Spoken: Hindi -Dwarf: ~range from 8”-6’ long -Classical : ~range from 8’-20’ long -Giant ~range from 30’-80’ long
*Minotaurs: ~Minotaurs are bull-human hybrids. They are incredibly strong and muscular and stand between 8 and 12 feet tall… They also have minor psychic capabilities (depending on the Minotaur)… Language Spoken: Greek

*Chimeras (Animal Hybrids): ~Chimeras are hyrids of two or more different animals. An example is an allocamelus which is a donkey-camel hybrid. These chimeras (along with other dinosaur-like creatures) have almost replaced the regular animals of the 2000s and prior….most if not all regular animals that still exist are critically endangered Language Spoken: Depends? *Centuars (and other –taurs): ~ Centuars are humanoid creatures. They are human torsos attached to an quad-pedal animal’s withers (the highest point on the back of an non-upright animal, on the ridge between the shoulder blades). Typically, they have immense physical strength and some even have some use of magic. Language Spoken: Greek
*Gnomes: ~Gnomes are small humanoids (standing at about 2-3 feet tall). They have limited magic use in order to create illusions [usually very convincing illusions]. Language Spoken: German
*Unicorns: ~Unicorns are mysterious, magical, and majestic creatures. It resembles an imposing and beautiful white horse, with glowing eyes (usually blue or silver), a silky mane and tail, and a spiraling, shell-shaped horn coming from their forehead. Unlike horses, they have cloven hooves, and some males have beards. There has been a rumor going around that a black unicorn exists with glowing eyes that resemble the flames of hell, but this has neither been confirmed nor denied. Language Spoken: Hebrew, Greek, Latin [It is said the legendary black Unicorn speaks an unknown language...]

*Golems: ~A golem is a type of construct (a magically created monster). They are generally under command of Elves (and Drows). Language Spoken: Whatever their creator desires them to speak -Flesh Golems (7’-12’ tall): ~Flesh Golems are made from various pieces of human remains. If control over a Flesh Golem is lost, then they go BESERK and attack both friends and foe… -Clay Golems (12’-17’ tall): ~Clay Golems are made from clay, obviously. They can only be harms by blunt objects. -Stone Golems (18’-25’ tall): ~Stone Golems are the largest Golem class. They, being made of stone, are resistant to attacks. Thus, in order to stop them their creator/controller needs to be stopped. -Iron Golems (5’-8’ tall): ~Iron Golems have the same strengths of Stone Golems, but come in a more compact size…
*Pixies (range from 4”-1’ tall): ~They are basically like faeries, but generally smaller and with less powerful magic. They, however, are more physically strong than faeries and have pointed teeth and claws. Their main strength comes from numbers though. Language Spoken: English

*Dwarves (2.5-4.5’ tall): ~ Dwarves are short, stocky humanoids. They rely mostly on primitive weapons and brute strength in battle. Though, there has been proof that they do indeed have some magic capabilities. Language Spoken: German
*Sphinxes: Language Spoken: Arabic, Greek -Androsphinxes: ~Wise, good male creatures with the heads of human males with a leonine mane. They can cast spells. - Astrosphinx: ~Malevolent sphinxes whose heads resemble goat skulls. -Canisphinx: ~Jackal-headed, predatory sphinxes. -Criosphinxes: ~male ram-head sphinxes with low intelligence and generally with the sole purpose of finding a gynosphinx mate… -Gynosphinx: ~The traditional, rhyme-loving sphinx with the head of a human female and the sole female sphinx class that has some innate magical ability… -Dracosphinx: ~Evil, crocodilian sphinxes that lair on riverbanks.. -Hieracophinxes: ~Evil, savage, and animal-intelligent hawk-headed sphinxes… -Loquasphinx: ~Leonine, knowledge-seeking sphinxes… -Luposphinx: ~Wolf-headed, forest-dwelling sphinxes -Saurosphinx: ~Reptilian faced, conversational sphinxes… -Threskisphinx: ~Ibis-headed, sagely sphinxes known for their skills as magical artisans…

*Kappas: ~Kappas are child-sized humanoids, though their bodies look more like that of a monkey or a frog than a human’s. They have scaly skin and a thick shell similarly to a tortoise’s. They scales are usually green, yellow, or blue. They inhabit ponds and lakes and have webbed hands and feet. The most notable feature of the kappa, however, is the water-filled depressions atop their heads. These cavities are surrounded by scraggly hair, and this type of bobbed hair style is named okappa-atama for the creatures. In addition, folklore suggests that kappa are masters of Koppo, a bone-breaking technique which they invented. *Goblins: ~ Goblins are a very common and particularly weak race of humanoid monsters. They are basically the smaller cousin of the Orc… In a way, yet they are NOT a class of ogre. They can perform a limited amount of magic spells, but it really depends on the Goblin. They range from leprechaun-size to human-size… Language Spoken: English
*Gorgons: ~ Gorgons are fanged, snake-haired humanoids that turns anyone that locks gazes with them to stone. Blood taken from the right side of the Gorgon and heal even the most fatal of wounds, but blood from the left side is an instantly lethal poison. Language Spoken: Greek
*Harpies: ~Harpies are winged “death-spirits”. They have the torsos of humans and the feet, tail, and wings of a bird…They are scavengers and feed on carcasses. Language Spoken: Greek

*Hippogriffs: ~Hippogriffs are the offspring of a griffin and a mare. Like a griffin it had the head of an eagle, claws armed with talons, and wings covered in feathers…the rest is like a horse. They are extremely rare… This is mostly because griffins usually regard horses as prey… Language Spoken: Italian, English
*Animal Spirits: ~These are humanoid creatures that look basically like humans with characteristics of the animal they are a “spirit” of. They have the ability to transform into their said animal… Some even have a large beastial (bestial?) form. Some also have magic capabilities. Language Spoken: Depends? [will come back to this later...]
*Manticores: ~Manticores are magical creatures that have the body of a red lion, a human head with three rows of sharp teeth (like a shark), and a trumpet-like voice. It maybe horned, winged, or both. Also, it’s tail is that of a scorpions’ from which it may shoot poisonous spines from to paralyze or kill its victims. Language Spoken: Greek
*Pegasus: ~The Pegasus is a horse-like magical creature similar to the Unicorn. It is basically a horse with wings. It’s fur/mane/tail comes in an assortment of colors and patterns, unlike the Unicorn. It also lacks the horn. Though there are constant rumors of pegasuses with horns… Language Spoken: Greek

* Selkies: ~Selkies are seal-like creatures that can transform into humans by shedding their seal skin and then can become a seal again by putting the skin back on..If they loose their seal skin, then they are cursed to be a human forever… Selkies can only stay in contact with one particular human for a short amount of time before having to return to the sea… Then they cannot see that human again for seven years… Language Spoken: English, Swedish
*Skin-walkers: ~Skin-walkers are a human-like race of people who can turn into any animal they desire to be… Language Spoken: English
*Valkyries: ~Valkyries are magical winged humanoids. Contrary to popular belief, there ARE male valkyries though they are rare… They have limited magical capabilities. Language Spoken: Swedish
*Yetis: ~Yetis are white, furry ape-like humans. They are also rather large [at least to humans] ranging from 9’-12’ tall. Language Spoken: Chinese
